Become a crucial part of our Orlando, Florida, logistics team as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick items for customer orders and pack them efficiently for shipment. Your role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate order fulfillment. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse environment, utilizing RF scanners and other tools to locate, retrieve, and prepare products. Maintaining a safe work area and adhering to all company safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This role requires individuals who are agile, have good hand-eye coordination, and are comfortable with physical tasks, including frequent lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movement and confirm picks.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, selecting correct packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and other required documentation.
- Assist with staging packed orders for outgoing carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding areas.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear all required PPE diligently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
