Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or use RF scanners to locate and retrieve inventory items.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Package items appropriately for shipping, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation to packages.
- Conduct final quality checks to confirm order accuracy before dispatch.
- Operate manual and automated packing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain tidiness and organization in the packing station and surrounding areas.
- Be prepared for frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ensure consistent use of mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as gloves and eye protection.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Actively participate in promoting a safe workplace and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Support team efforts by assisting with other warehouse functions as needed.
