Join our growing team as a Shipping Clerk in San Antonio, Texas! We are looking for an organized individual to manage and oversee all aspects of our outbound shipping operations. This role is critical to our logistics network, ensuring that products reach our customers in perfect condition and on time. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a hands-on environment, this is the perfect fit for you. You will be instrumental in maintaining the smooth flow of goods from our warehouse to their final destinations.
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify all outgoing shipments, ensuring order accuracy.
- Prepare shipping documents, including labels, manifests, and customs forms if applicable.
- Utilize shipping software and equipment efficiently to streamline operations.
- Liaise with transportation providers to schedule pickups and manage delivery timelines.
- Inspect all shipments for damage or discrepancies before they leave the facility.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping logs and inventory records.
- Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents.
- Perform frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses and gloves, consistently.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our logistics and supply chain management.
- Champion a strong safety culture by reporting hazards and participating in safety initiatives.
- Assist in inventory management and other warehouse tasks as needed to support team goals.
