Are you an experienced and certified Forklift Operator seeking a new opportunity in Austin, Texas? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will operate forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently throughout our warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and retrieving inventory. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is crucial, and you will be expected to adhere to all Safety guidelines and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) properly. Your ability to operate machinery with precision and awareness is key to supporting our supply chain operations. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to excellent performance. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as put-away and order picking.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Follow all operational instructions and procedures accurately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety rules and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including standing and walking for extended periods.
