Job Summary:
Our Portland, Oregon facility is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data, which is vital for our **logistics** operations. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize inventory loss. A strong understanding of warehouse **safety** protocols and the correct use of **PPE** is mandatory. This position requires analytical skills, precision, and the ability to work independently. You will be instrumental in maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring the efficiency of our supply chain. While the role is primarily analytical, some physical tasks may involve **Lifting**.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and monitor inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
  • Assist in the identification and segregation of damaged or obsolete stock.
  • Support **logistics** planning by providing accurate inventory information.
  • Occasional **Lifting** of inventory may be required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Understanding of **logistics** and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of warehouse **safety** procedures and the importance of **PPE**.
  • Ability to perform basic physical tasks, including occasional **Lifting** up to 30 lbs.
  • Effective communication skills.
