Join our dedicated logistics team as a Material Handler in Denver, Colorado. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from various departments, and assisting with inventory management. We are seeking individuals who are physically fit, reliable, and possess a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols. This position requires the ability to operate material handling equipment and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to and from designated areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and put-away of inventory.
- Support order picking and packing processes as needed.
- Ensure proper stacking and organization of materials in the warehouse.
- Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent physical condition and stamina.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliability and punctuality.
