Our growing facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support our extensive logistics operations. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse, from receiving to dispatch. This role is vital to maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to a productive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and finished goods.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to move inventory.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking and staging materials.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, free from hazards.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Ability to perform significant lifting, up to 60 lbs, on a regular basis.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and the correct use of PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects throughout the shift.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable attendance record and strong work ethic.
