Join our dynamic logistics team as an Order Picker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking products to fulfill customer orders. Utilizing RF scanning technology, you will navigate our warehouse, locate items, and prepare them for shipment. A sharp eye for detail is essential to ensure order accuracy and minimize errors. You will contribute to maintaining a well-organized and clean warehouse environment. Safety is paramount in our operations, and adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is strictly enforced. This position requires physical stamina for standing, walking, and performing moderate Lifting throughout the shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely for shipment, adhering to company standards.
- Stage orders for final checks and dispatch.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and aisles.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Comply with all company Safety rules and regulations.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE.
- Meet established productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Report any inventory inaccuracies or damaged items to supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be capable of moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs) regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse technology.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control.
- Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
