This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods. You will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing products for shipment, working closely with the rest of the warehouse team. Responsibilities:
- Pick items from various warehouse locations according to pick lists.
- Ensure the accuracy of picked items and quantities.
- Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Pack items appropriately for transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory checks.
- Achieve performance goals for picking speed and accuracy.
- Understand and apply safe lifting practices.
- Support overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Capability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Flexibility in work schedule.
- Familiarity with logistics procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
