We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our bustling distribution center in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will perform a variety of essential warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Your commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and safety will ensure the smooth operation of our logistics network and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction. We are looking for individuals eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against documentation.
- Stock and organize inventory within the warehouse, maintaining proper placement and rotation.
- Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners and order sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate materials.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift operation).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Follow all established safety procedures and protocols, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily logistics targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome ambitious individuals eager to start a career in logistics.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of and adherence to safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills.
