You will use scanners to record received items into our inventory management system. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and understands the importance of accurate record-keeping in a warehouse setting. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle lifting of materials throughout the day. Key duties include:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Verify packing slips and purchase orders against received goods.
- Inspect shipments for any damage or discrepancies and report findings.
- Accurately enter received inventory data into the warehouse management system.
- Organize and stage incoming goods for put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock.
- Adhere to all logistics and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Must be capable of regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
