Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our growing logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our inventory data and physical stock. You will develop and implement procedures to optimize inventory accuracy, minimize losses, and ensure efficient warehouse operations. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and a meticulous approach to detail.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Conducting regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Analyzing inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and optimize stock levels.
  • Managing the efficient flow of inventory, from receiving to shipment, within the warehouse.
  • Collaborating with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Ensuring proper storage, labeling, and organization of all inventory items.
  • Training and supervising inventory clerks or associates as needed.
  • Maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of inventory management principles, and experience with WMS software. While not a purely physical role, the ability to navigate the warehouse and understand material handling processes is important. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Ability to interpret data and generate actionable reports.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
