Join our team in Omaha, Nebraska, as an Inventory Control Specialist. This critical role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will conduct regular audits, investigate discrepancies, and implement processes to improve inventory management within our **logistics** framework. A strong focus on detail, organization, and adherence to **safety** protocols is essential. This position plays a vital role in optimizing warehouse efficiency and ensuring product availability.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Implement procedures to improve inventory accuracy and control.
- Monitor stock levels and report on slow-moving or excess inventory.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to identify and address inventory-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with all **safety** guidelines and the correct use of **PPE**.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Understanding of **logistics** and supply chain principles.
- Ability to perform moderate **lifting** (up to 30 lbs) when necessary.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and following all procedures.
