Seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland! As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, and unloading materials within our logistics facility. Your primary function will be operating a forklift to transport goods between different areas of the warehouse, ensuring product integrity and timely movement. This role is critical to our supply chain operations and requires a skilled and safety-conscious individual. You will be expected to maintain your equipment, perform pre-operational checks, and strictly follow all Safety regulations. Proper use of PPE is mandatory. The ability to handle moderate to heavy Lifting is also required, as you may assist with manual tasks when necessary. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up) to move, stack, and unstack palletized materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Handle general warehouse duties, including occasional Lifting, when not operating the forklift.
- Ensure accurate and timely movement of goods to support logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
