Job Description

The Insurance Agent plays a vital role in expanding the agency’s client base by providing expert guidance and selling property & casualty and commercial insurance products. Reporting directly to the Agency Director, the agent uses specialized insurance quoting platforms to tailor coverage solutions and manage policy renewals without the need for travel. This role offers opportunities for advancement into sales leadership positions.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new clients and generate leads
• Sell insurance policies tailored to client needs
• Provide ongoing customer service and support
• Review and explain contract details to clients
• Manage policy renewals efficiently
• Maintain accurate records using insurance quoting platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (Spanish)
• Entry-level experience in insurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• State Insurance License
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management tools
• Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of risk analysis and insurance products
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Understanding of regulatory compliance
• Effective time management skills
