Position Overview

Bold City Green Works is seeking a dependable and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing irrigation inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on commercial properties to ensure irrigation systems are operating efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while representing the company professionally in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine irrigation system inspections at commercial properties
• Diagnose and repair irrigation issues including:
• • Broken sprinkler heads
  • Leaks in lines or fittings
  • Valve malfunctions
  • Controller/timer issues
  • Coverage and pressure problems
• Adjust and maintain sprinkler heads, rotors, nozzles, and drip systems
• Identify water waste issues and recommend corrective actions
• Test and troubleshoot electrical components related to irrigation systems
• Document findings, repairs completed, and materials used
• Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding property needs, repairs, and follow-up work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked work truck
• Follow all company safety procedures and job site rules
• Represent Bold City Green Works in a professional manner on all job sites

Daily Expectations

• Report to the office each morning to pick up your company truck
• Travel to assigned commercial properties throughout the day
• Complete scheduled inspections and repairs efficiently and thoroughly
• Return the truck and/or report job completion details as directed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in irrigation repair and maintenance required
• Experience working on commercial irrigation systems preferred
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation and basic electrical issues
• Knowledge of controllers, valves, heads, rotors, drip systems, and pipe repair
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, and use tools/materials as needed
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
