We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize advanced enterprise network solutions. This role requires deep expertise in routing, switching, SD-WAN, wireless technologies, and network automation. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, driving innovation and ensuring high-performance, scalable, and secure network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Architecture & Deployment:
Design and implement complex network solutions using Cisco, Arista, and MIST platforms Deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalable and automated network environments Routing & Switching:
Configure and optimize routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF Manage enterprise switching environments for performance and reliability Wireless Network Engineering:
Design and manage wireless networks, particularly MIST-based solutions Ensure high availability and seamless user experience Network Automation:
Develop automation workflows using Ansible, Terraform, and APIs Leverage Infrastructure as Code for efficient network operations Collaboration & Strategy:
Work with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business goals Act as a technical SME for networking initiatives Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain detailed network documentation, SOPs, and configurations Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Evaluate new technologies and vendors Drive improvements in performance, automation, and security Operational Support:
Participate in on-call rotation for network support Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues Required Skills:
Strong expertise in LAN, SD-WAN, and enterprise networking Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and switching technologies Extensive experience with Cisco and Arista platforms Strong wireless networking knowledge (MIST preferred) Advanced automation skills (Ansible, Python, REST APIs) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration Technical Skills:
Network Automation: Ansible, Terraform, Python Networking: BGP, OSPF, LAN, SD-WAN Platforms: Cisco, Arista, MIST Cloud: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (preferred) Tools: Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (Required)
Experience:
Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer Proven experience in enterprise-level network design and operations Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: CCNP, Arista ACE L5 or equivalent Experience with MIST wireless solutions Experience in cloud and hybrid networking environments Manufacturing/OT environment experience Financial acumen for budgeting and vendor management
