Role Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in building scalable modern data platforms and AI-enabled data solutions using the Microsoft technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate will work on enterprise data engineering initiatives leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, ADLS, and AI services to design and implement robust data pipelines and lakehouse architectures. Core Skills Microsoft Fabric Azure Cloud Platform Azure Databricks Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) Foundry AI / Azure AI Services Strong Python and SQL Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data integration solutions. Implement Lakehouse and enterprise data warehouse architectures using Microsoft Fabric, ADLS, and Databricks. Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing workflows. Develop AI-ready data pipelines to support AI / GenAI use cases using Foundry AI and Azure AI services. Collaborate with Architects, TPMs, Analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Perform performance tuning, data quality checks, and cost optimization. Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices for data platform deployments. xywuqvp Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards. Technical Requirements Hands-on experience with: Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Pipelines, Warehouse, OneLake) Azure Databricks (PySpark / Spark / Delta Lake) ADLS Gen2 enterprise data lake implementations Azure Data Factory / Synapse Analytics Strong programming skills in Python and advanced SQL Experience with data modeling, partitioning, performance tuning Exposure to REST APIs and data ingestion frameworks Understanding of streaming / event-driven architectures (Event Hub / Kafka – nice to have) Exposure to Power BI / Semantic models (nice to have)
