ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking a
Mobile Turbine Generator Packaging Engineer
to lead the integration of complex turbine-based power systems into fully deployable, transportable units. This role sits at the intersection of mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering and is responsible for ensuring the complete product functions cohesively in real-world environments. The Packaging Engineer will take ownership of system layout, integration, and execution, ensuring all subsystems, including turbine, generator, cooling, fuel, exhaust, and electrical systems, are designed to operate together within physical and operational constraints. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead full system integration of mobile turbine generator units, including layout and configuration of all major subsystems. Design packaging solutions that optimize space, weight, thermal performance, and serviceability. Ensure systems can be transported, installed, and operated reliably in field environments. Interface with suppliers and external packaging partners to align on technical requirements and integration standards. Define and validate system requirements, including fluid systems, cooling, electrical integration, and structural layout. Manage external consultants and packaging partners, with potential to build internal capability over time. REQUIREMENTS You Understand System-Level Packaging and Integration:
You bring hands-on experience integrating complex mechanical and electrical systems into a complete, functioning product. You Know How to Package Power Generation Equipment:
You have experience packaging turbine, generator, or other complex industrial power systems into skid-mounted, trailer-mounted, modular, or stationary units. You Can Support System Integration Beyond the Core Engine:
You understand that the turbine is only one part of the full product. You are comfortable integrating generators, gearboxes, pumps, cooling systems, electrical interfaces, and other supporting systems into a complete operating unit. You Bring Solid Industry Experience:
You have approximately 5+ years of experience in packaging engineering, systems integration, power generation equipment, rotating machinery, or similarly complex industrial systems. Preferred Skills You’ve Worked with Mobile Power or Trailer-Mounted Systems:
You have experience with mobile generator systems, trailer-mounted equipment, or other transportable industrial products and understand the added constraints that mobility introduces. You Have Experience with Gas Turbine Generator Packages:
You have exposure to turbine-based power generation systems and understand the integration needs around generators, fluid systems, cooling, controls, and operating requirements. You’ve Supported Controls Integration:
You have experience coordinating interfaces between equipment packages and controls systems, including making sure control architectures, instrumentation, and operating requirements align across multiple parties.
