In the role of Senior Networking Solutions Architect, you will tackle the most demanding cloud networking challenges for our clientele. You will work closely with AWS product teams and experts globally to scale best practices and shape the future of cloud network architecture. This role will allow you to apply your extensive technical knowledge to guide customers through intricate network architectures, create publicly shared best practices through blog posts and speaking engagements, and advocate for customer needs with product teams to influence the future of cloud networking. As the need for AI, high-performance computing, and mission-critical workloads grows, you will be at the forefront of designing reliable and high-performing connectivity across regions, offices, and devices. Key Responsibilities: Design comprehensive networking solutions for customers that prioritize high performance, scalability, and reliability, utilizing your deep knowledge of enterprise, core, and cloud networking principles. Collaborate with AWS product teams to communicate customer needs, influence future product roadmaps, and ensure networking services evolve with enterprise requirements. Create technical materials including reference architectures, blog posts, and whitepapers to demonstrate networking best practices that are easily implementable by others. Lead complex technical projects requiring collaboration across multiple teams, providing architectural guidance throughout the implementation process. Identify existing gaps in networking products and services proactively, translating customer feedback into clear business and technical specifications for product teams. A Day in the Life: As a subject matter expert in networking, your day will start with reviewing complex customer architectures and preparing for in-depth technical discussions. You may begin your morning by assisting customers with network design considerations for a multi-region deployment and then work with product teams in the afternoon on addressing specific customer needs. You will also share best practices through blog posts and speaking opportunities, establishing yourself as a reputable voice in the domain of cloud networking. Throughout your day, you'll advocate for customers with product teams, helping shape the future capabilities of AWS networking. About the Team: AWS values diverse experiences.

Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics). 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting of applications and infrastructure. 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting within the software or Internet industries. Bachelor's degree. 5+ years of experience in computer networking. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking. Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals. Understanding of cloud architecture. Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical leaders. Hands-on experience in developing scripts, tools, or methodologies that enhance customer solutions. The compensation package will also include sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
