Job Category Data Analytics, Data Science, Technology Compensation Overview The annual base salary for this position ranges from $109,300.00 to $180,200.00. The specific salary is determined by various factors such as the position's scope, complexity, and location, as well as your skills and experience. In addition, employees are eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards. Target Openings 1 What Is the Opportunity? As a Data Engineer in our dynamic Data Engineering team, you'll be instrumental in designing pipelines that enhance data accessibility across the enterprise. Your analytical skills, combined with a curiosity to interpret data, will empower you to create data solutions that support AI, Machine Learning, and business intelligence initiatives. Please note that you must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S., as we do not sponsor or support work visas for this role. What Will You Do? Develop and implement data solutions, troubleshoot issues, and suggest data quality improvements.
Design efficient data architectures and pipelines.
Evaluate data sources and recommend valuable datasets for analysis.
Incorporate principles of data governance, security, and quality into your work.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data products and educate users on analytics tools.
Conduct data analysis and resolve defects in a timely manner.
Perform testing of data processes and transformations.
Complete additional tasks as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? A Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
A minimum of six years of relevant experience.
Strong AI application skills, particularly with OpenAI and AWS Bedrock.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, AWS, and Databricks to create data solutions.
Experience with Terraform for efficient infrastructure management.
Skills in API design to enable integrations and functionality.
Experience with cloud platforms, programming languages, and software engineering practices.
The ability to manage workflow effectively and meet deadlines.
Deep knowledge of systems and technical concepts relevant to your work.
Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
Intermediate leadership qualities and a proactive approach to personal growth.
What is a Must Have? A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field, or equivalent education/experience.
Additional two years of software or data engineering experience.
