Residential Childcare Support Worker

• Location: Highbridge
• Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
• Specific Hours: 38 hours per week
• Salary:
  • Unqualified: Up to £32,375.89 (including sleep-in shifts)
  • Qualified: Up to £33,640.53 (including sleep-in shifts)

As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in a children's residential home, supporting young people with challenging behaviors. Your flexibility, resilience, and organizational skills will be key as you strive to provide high-quality childcare and help these young individuals achieve their best outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to support young people.
• Maintain clear and accurate records to meet statutory and policy requirements.
• Engage, motivate, and encourage young people in their daily activities.
• Participate in a shift pattern of 2 days on and 4 days off, including 2 sleep-ins.

• Full manual driving license.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude.
• Empathetic nature with excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Previous experience working with young people.
• Willingness to work towards a fully funded Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People (or already qualified).
