Position Details- Location: Highbridge
- Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
- Specific Hours: 38 hours per week
- Salary:
- Unqualified: Up to £32,375.89 (including sleep-in shifts)
- Qualified: Up to £33,640.53 (including sleep-in shifts)
As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in a children's residential home, supporting young people with challenging behaviors. Your flexibility, resilience, and organizational skills will be key as you strive to provide high-quality childcare and help these young individuals achieve their best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to support young people.
- Maintain clear and accurate records to meet statutory and policy requirements.
- Engage, motivate, and encourage young people in their daily activities.
- Participate in a shift pattern of 2 days on and 4 days off, including 2 sleep-ins.
- Full manual driving license.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude.
- Empathetic nature with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience working with young people.
- Willingness to work towards a fully funded Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People (or already qualified).
