Position Details
  • Base Location: Coventry
  • Hours: 28 hours per week (4 days)
  • Salary: Up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00)
  • Office Location: Long Eaton
  • Caseload Area: Midlands and South Yorkshire (within 1 hour's drive, with occasional flexibility)

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker , you will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct support to foster parents within a manageable caseload.
  • Conducting regular supervision to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes.
What We’re Looking For

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. Key qualifications include:

  • A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to work flexibly.
Working Conditions

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that requires excellent report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines. You will need a full driving license and access to your own car.
