We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and efficiently packing them for shipment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and attention to detail to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment, often collaborating with other team members to meet daily targets. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses good organizational skills, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and safe work area. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using order pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing productivity goals.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisory staff promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and shipping labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures is essential.
