Join our vibrant team in San Diego, California, as an Order Picker! We are seeking individuals who excel in a fast-paced warehouse environment and have a keen eye for detail. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders, ensuring timely and correct shipments. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations and contributes directly to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order sheets or scanner data.
- Verify product information (SKU, quantity, description) for accuracy.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for transit.
- Operate scanning devices and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and fulfillment targets.
Previous experience in an order picking or warehouse role is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret order documents accurately. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform frequent bending and lifting of up to 50 pounds. A strong commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. This is a great opportunity to contribute to our growing logistics presence in San Diego.
