We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable individuals to manage the flow of materials throughout our facility. This role is integral to ensuring smooth warehouse operations, from receiving to shipping. Your responsibilities will include moving, sorting, and organizing various materials and products. You will operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, and potentially assist with operating forklifts (certification may be required for specific tasks). A strong commitment to safety is essential; you will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety procedures. This position involves physical labor, including significant lifting and maneuvering of items. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and contribute positively to a team setting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Sort, organize, and stage materials for production or shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and conducting cycle counts.
- Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse.
- Ensure all materials are handled and stored safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and inventory management.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good organizational skills.
