Job Summary:
Opportunity awaits at our Los Angeles, California location for a skilled Inventory Control Specialist! This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our vast inventory within a busy logistics hub. The ideal candidate will be adept at implementing and overseeing inventory management systems, conducting thorough cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and optimizing stock levels to support operational efficiency. We are dedicated to fostering a secure work environment, emphasizing the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to all Safety protocols. Your role will directly contribute to the success of our supply chain by ensuring that inventory data is precise and reliable, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories, promptly investigating and resolving any variances.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, receipts, and shipments accurately.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend strategies for optimization.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and purchasing departments to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to prevent damage and obsolescence.
  • Uphold stringent Safety standards, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Mandatory use of appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Perform tasks that may involve moderate Lifting, up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • In-depth understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics best practices.
  • Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of Safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
  • Experience with moderate Lifting tasks.
