Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Raleigh, North Carolina! This role offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our fast-paced warehouse operations. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are committed to accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and ensure the smooth functioning of our logistics chain. We emphasize the importance of safety, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and adherence to all company policies, including those related to manual Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and stock merchandise accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specific instructions.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
- Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while in the warehouse.
- Assist with Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Perform tasks involving moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations is a plus.
