Our Salt Lake City, Utah facility is seeking diligent Order Pickers to join our logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in accurately fulfilling customer orders by retrieving specified items from warehouse storage. Your keen eye for detail and efficiency will ensure that the right products are picked, minimizing errors and contributing to exceptional customer service. You will work with various picking technologies, such as RF scanners, to locate and retrieve items. This role requires physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. We are committed to providing a safe working space for all our associates.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves and storage locations based on order tickets or electronic devices.
- Use RF scanners and other equipment to track picked items and update inventory.
- Consolidate picked items and prepare them for the packing station.
- Ensure picked items match order specifications regarding quantity, size, and type.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Meet established picking quotas and performance standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse inventory systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Must adhere to all safety regulations and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
