We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our facility in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be a critical part of our logistics operation, working in a fast-paced environment to meet daily targets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping containers.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and packed orders.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Operate scanning equipment and other warehouse tools.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety in all tasks.
- Willingness to follow all instructions regarding handling procedures and PPE usage.
