Are you an experienced individual looking to advance your career in warehouse management? Our Jacksonville, Florida location is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator. This role is pivotal in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all safety standards. You will manage inventory, coordinate staff activities, and streamline our logistics processes. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems, a commitment to Safety, and the ability to lead a team are essential. We provide a supportive work environment and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate and schedule warehouse staff activities to optimize workflow.
- Implement and enforce strict Safety procedures and protocols.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Manage shipping and receiving schedules to meet logistical demands.
- Train new warehouse personnel on procedures, Safety guidelines, and equipment operation.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs in logistics operations.
- Handle reporting on key warehouse metrics and performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management and logistics principles.
- Proficiency in WMS and other relevant software.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and experience implementing Safety programs.
- Ability to manage a team and motivate personnel.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
