Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in Los Angeles, California! In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking orders and preparing them for shipment. You'll work within a fast-paced warehouse environment, contributing directly to the smooth operation of our logistics network. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining a safe workspace. You will be interacting with various warehouse systems to track inventory and fulfill customer orders. Our company values safety and efficiency above all else, and we provide all necessary training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform quality checks on products before packing.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Be prepared for lifting and moving of packages, with a weight limit clearly defined.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Comfortable with lifting up to 30 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
