We are looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of goods within our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers (certification may be required).
- Replenish inventory and organize stock within the distribution center.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist with stock audits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Ensure the correct and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and optimize logistics flow.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 60 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for the duration of the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols and best practices.
- Willingness to operate various warehouse machinery.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
