We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting, packing, and staging customer orders. This position is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ability to perform required Lifting tasks throughout your shift is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing targets.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in logistics and warehouse operations.
- Ensure all tasks are performed with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Understand and follow all instructions regarding Lifting requirements and safe handling practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles.
