You will be responsible for locating specific items within the warehouse and then preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or RF scanner prompts.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package products securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned within the logistics framework.
- This role requires frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs and standing for long periods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets and order information.
- Proficiency with RF scanners is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting.
- Awareness and adherence to safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics operations is beneficial.
