We are seeking an energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our growing team in Austin, Texas. In this multifaceted role, you will be involved in various aspects of our warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient flow of goods within our logistics network. Your responsibilities may include receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, including strict adherence to all company policies and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to perform frequent lifting, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment is essential. You will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring that our products are handled with care and efficiency from arrival to departure. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders or internal requisitions.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Process outgoing shipments and prepare documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent stock checks and system updates.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Utilize appropriate PPE for all assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Support various functions within the logistics and distribution process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Understanding of warehouse safety practices. Commitment to wearing and using all necessary PPE. Good teamwork and communication skills. Basic computer literacy is a plus.
