We are looking for energetic Picker/Packers to join our distribution team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This fast-paced role is crucial for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, verifying product details, and carefully packing them for shipment. You will also be involved in labeling packages, preparing them for dispatch, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. A strong emphasis is placed on accuracy and efficiency, as well as adhering to all safety procedures and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the warehouse, and perform frequent lifting of items. You will be an integral part of our logistics network, contributing to the successful fulfillment of orders. We value a positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Verify product details and quantities before packing.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages with shipping information.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous picking and packing experience preferred. Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels. Must be able to perform frequent lifting and bending. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of warehouse operations. Commitment to following safety guidelines. Must wear provided PPE.
