Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick orders accurately.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves efficiently.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping, using correct materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of logistics through prompt and accurate order processing.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or warehouse worker is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting and carrying of items.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both picking and packing.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
