You will be involved in a range of warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking orders, packing items, and preparing them for shipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
- Sort, stock, and store inventory in designated areas.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF devices or pick sheets.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including correct lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively as required.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of general logistics principles and warehouse safety standards.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE at all times.
