Join our vibrant team in Salt Lake City, Utah, as an Order Picker. This role is crucial for ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves based on order lists. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, agile, and committed to high productivity standards. We pride ourselves on a safe working environment and provide all necessary training and PPE. This position requires the ability to navigate the warehouse effectively and perform tasks that involve frequent Lifting and movement, making physical stamina a key requirement. Your accuracy and speed directly contribute to the success of our Logistics operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Use scanning devices to track picked items and update inventory.
- Verify picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to packing and shipping areas.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety rules and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Follow instructions regarding the proper use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks or other simple material handling equipment if required.
- Contribute to overall team goals and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent and repetitive Lifting of items up to 35 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Good stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
