We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate for our Jacksonville, Florida location! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading logistics company and contribute to the seamless flow of goods. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks essential to warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will work with a dedicated team, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and most importantly, Safety. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and possess a strong work ethic. This position involves physical activity, including Lifting and moving products, and requires adherence to all Safety protocols and the use of provided PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Pick items for customer orders using appropriate equipment.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage outgoing shipments and load trucks.
- Operate material handling equipment as trained and authorized.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Handle tasks involving Lifting and moving packages of various sizes.
- Support the overall logistics process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a team. Must be able to perform tasks requiring consistent physical effort, including Lifting up to 50 lbs. Understanding and adherence to Safety procedures. Availability to work flexible shifts as needed.
