This role is essential for the smooth flow of our logistics operations, ensuring efficiency from receiving to dispatch. You will be expected to perform routine checks on equipment and adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload pallets and other inventory from trucks.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklift equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up).
- Certification or ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
