We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our Fort Worth, Texas facility. This role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement and organization of materials throughout the warehouse. As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, and preparing materials for shipment. You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols and the consistent use of appropriate PPE are mandatory. This position requires physical stamina, as it involves frequent lifting of heavy items, bending, and standing. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and properly store incoming materials and products.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment with precision and safety.
- Pick and pack orders according to specified requirements.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
- Maintain organized inventory and assist with stock checks.
- Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and free from hazards.
- Comply with all company safety standards and regulations.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE, including safety vests, gloves, and eye protection.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operations to meet targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse setting.
- Forklift operation certification is a strong asset.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 70 pounds).
- Good knowledge of warehouse safety practices and PPE usage.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Team-oriented and able to work effectively with others.
- Dependable and punctual.
