Become a Picker/Packer at our San Francisco, California facility! As a Picker/Packer, you will navigate the warehouse, locate specific items based on order tickets, and prepare them for shipment. Key responsibilities include accurately picking items from designated locations, meticulously packing products to ensure they arrive safely at their destination, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position requires a high level of accuracy, speed, and the ability to follow instructions precisely. We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic who are committed to Safety and quality. Understanding the nuances of logistics and order fulfillment is essential. You'll be working within a team environment, contributing to overall productivity goals. The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including considerable Lifting, is required. We provide thorough training on our systems and Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for defects or damage.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing packages.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and demonstrate proper use of PPE.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory tasks and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety.
- Team player with good communication skills.
