This position involves working within a fast-paced warehouse environment, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly preferred. The role demands proficiency in data entry, report generation, and problem-solving. You will collaborate closely with warehouse operations, receiving, and shipping departments to resolve inventory issues promptly. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential issues.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related problems.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Perform data entry and generate inventory reports.
- Assist with training new team members on inventory procedures.
- Must be comfortable with consistent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and efficiency within the logistics operations.
