We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving, processing, and storing incoming stock, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing items for shipment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. You will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely (certification may be required or provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles and workspaces are clear.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Follow established procedures for handling and storing materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily targets.
- Participate in regular training sessions on warehouse operations and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and logistics processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the use of PPE.
