We are looking for an attentive Receiving Clerk to join our logistics hub in Tampa, Florida. This position is critical to our supply chain, ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed with accuracy and efficiency. You will be the first point of contact for many of our incoming goods, verifying quantities, checking for damage, and ensuring all paperwork is correctly completed. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to Safety are essential. This role involves regular Lifting and the use of warehouse equipment, making adherence to all Safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, non-negotiable. If you are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity within the logistics field.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise from vendors and carriers.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists, noting any discrepancies.
- Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before acceptance.
