Are you a motivated individual seeking a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse? Our Atlanta, Georgia facility is looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our fulfillment team. This position is vital for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. You'll be responsible for accurately picking products from inventory and securely packing them for shipment. This role demands efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Select the correct shipping labels and apply them to packages.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and completeness.
- Operate packing machinery and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety procedures.
- Perform lifting of packages and inventory items, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Understand and follow warehouse safety rules and logistics best practices.
- Contribute to a positive and safe working environment by reporting any safety concerns.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as directed by supervisors, including inventory counts and stock replenishment.
