Our Charlotte, North Carolina distribution center is looking for enthusiastic Order Pickers to join our logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include navigating the warehouse to retrieve specified items, verifying order details, and preparing items for packing and shipping. This role demands a high level of focus, accuracy, and the ability to work at a steady pace in a dynamic environment. You'll be a key player in our supply chain, directly contributing to customer satisfaction by getting their orders right. Safety is a top priority, and adherence to all guidelines is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to pick lists or digital orders.
- Use scanning devices to track picked items and update inventory levels.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any damaged or missing items.
- Assist with restocking and put-away tasks as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Perform duties involving moderate Lifting of products.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability for moderate Lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Understanding of Safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic understanding of scanning technology.
