Join our busy distribution center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for locating products within the warehouse, picking them according to order sheets, and preparing them for shipment. This is a fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed are crucial for customer satisfaction. You will work closely with a team to ensure orders are processed correctly and on time, contributing directly to the smooth operation of our logistics network. A commitment to safety and proper handling procedures is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages with shipping information.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing the required PPE.
- Perform quality checks on picked and packed items to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting of packages.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic reading and counting skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending and reaching.
- Capability of moderate Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and order fulfillment processes is a plus.
